millerman 0 Posted June 27, 2008 hello i am currently lowering my vr with weitech lowering springs question is should i cut down the bump stops the same amout as its being lowered eg 40mm as these are 40mm lowering springs or can i leave them as they are as i will be getting some coilies in the next month or so your thoughts please kelly. Critical_Mass 10 Posted June 27, 2008 Are you using standard shockers. I WAS goign to do this as a cheap lowering alternative. But was advised to get shorter shockers too as the standard shocks with lowered springs will bottom out all the time - thus making them scrap in no time at all. I'd wait until you get your coilies.
