Removing wires from termination blocks

Hi all

 

Has anyone removed wires from the lighting termination blocks before? Is there an insert/extract tool for the job?

 

I have a short circuit at the plug on one of my rear lights (Leon Cupra) which causes the brake lights to come on when I switch my sidelights on, and need to change the plug.

They are a bit of a nightmare to get out! I used a very small watchmakers screwdriver to push in the retaining clip from inside the plug itself, even still it took a lot of cursing and shouting at it before it finally came out! :roll:
