Its 60k on the 2.0 a6v, id imagine the 1.8 is the same.

VW specify every 60k... but most people do it every 40k.... I dont need to tell you what happens if it lets go do I ? *:)

I should imagine the threat of a 4 figure bill is enough to force people to spend the comparatively small amount of money to do that minor job every 40k or so miles :)
