fla 9 Posted August 9, 2008 If you press the door locks down are you supposed to be able to open the doors by using the door pull, as a safety feature? On mine it doesnt. Also, if you press the drivers lock down should it activate the central locking? and vice versa, if yuo pull it up should the doors & boot unlock? The main concern is the first one though. boost monkey 0 Posted August 9, 2008 1. Don't think so. The passenger door handle will "work" but the door won't open. Driver's door you can't even pull the handle that much with the doors locked. 2. With the drivers door closed, you should be able to push the door pin down which will indeed activate the central locking - this is normal.
