Gaskets part numbers?

hi all...

 

Im soon getting my polished inlet manifold, rocker cover and throttle body for my 94' VR6... (Cheers Dazfx) When fitting them, I might as well change all the associated gaskets right? Is there a need. ye?

Has anyone got a list of part numbers for the gaskets involved? Surely someone has done this when polishing up there bays?

 

Any help much appreciated

hey there can't help you with the part numbers i'm afraid, but yes you will definitely have to change all of the gaskets :)

Throttle body-intake manifold gasket 021133073C about £3

 

top inlet gasket 021133227J about £5

 

lower part inlet to head gasket 021133227H about £8

 

Parts you need are 2, 10 and 9 :grin:

oh yeah....and that is either 021103483B upto chassis number / M >> 014 000* or 021103483D for chassis M 014 001>>* onwards

Depending on if you're going to be changing the whole inlet manifold, or just the upper bit will obviously depend on if you need the lower gasket (part no. 9).

 

I'd also suggest you have a few of the bolts and washers to hand as they're hex-head and you're likely to lunch a couple of them. They're part number N0147263 and come with the retained washers on them.

 

You don't need to take the rocker cover off to swap the inlet manifold, but it might not be an idea replacing the gasket anyway if it's leaking. The early gaskets are for the metal rocker covers, the late ones are for the plastic rocker covers.

 

If you need one - I've got a spare early-type rocker cover gasket, still in the VAG bag you can have for £15 posted.
