stu_f 0 Posted September 20, 2008 Hi all, I need to get rid of my cars as I need the cash, currently have 3 rado's, a golf and a prelude. Need some ideas what the rado's are worth although not sure on all the details as I am posting from work: G60 Red Good condition bodywork Owned for 3 years but never actually put on the road in that time. No idea on charger history. Does start but needs fuel hoses replacing. 1.8 16v Red Paintwork needs attention Currently in the process of getting it running as its been sitting for 8 months. cd changer & player german plates 1.8 16v White Written off but engine and electrics all work perfectly. Written off as went through sign post sideways avoiding a drunk pedestrian :( Came with alloys & custom exhaust Any ideas on what I can expect to get for these? I love the cars but I haven't got the time or the spare cash for them, and I think I may shed a tear to see the G60 go even though i've only driven it once! :( Need to get myself some cheaper and more reliable transport for work, maybe getting myself a Yamaha FZ6 N. davidwort 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I've seen a fair few MOT failures/breakers go for a good few hundred quid, I wouldn't let either of the valvers go for less than several hundred, it really depends on how many parts are in salvageable condition as they're worth money in bits. The G60 should go for more mainly due to rarity value, but so much depends on the individual car and who happens to be looking around for one at the time, there's not so many people around at the moment that have several spare grand sitting around to buy and restore cars though. Sonicriot13 0 Posted September 20, 2008 I don't know what other people will say to this but you may be better off breaking the white one. :(
