Jim Bowen 1 Posted October 31, 2008 just collect the TT wipers, and got them home, they look super lovely. But there appears to be no splined bit in the hole? i've never had new arms before so it may be that they come like this? ^^^ just a smooth hole in last pic, does clamping it onto the car create the splines? PROVR6 0 Posted October 31, 2008 Sorry for the mini Hijack - Can I ask where you got them, as these are on my to do very soon list. Anyone know how they compare to the lupo wipers?
Supercharged 2 Posted October 31, 2008 They are the next step up from the Lupo's - more suited to the shape of the screen so don't judder - awesome!
Jim Bowen 1 Posted November 1, 2008 just fitted them, simple really, i not sure the bending acheived much, i was too scared to break anything, but they seem to work ok. the passenger side does catch the scuttle trim at the bottom but its such a small amount i'm going to leave it and see what happens
Jim Bowen 1 Posted November 1, 2008 pretty poor pics, the arms meet in the middle, i don't see it being a problem though

I just went to VW garage with these part numbers 8N2955408D = arm, 2no. required 8N2955425E = blade, 2no. required came to £105, expensive it seems, but worth it, such a good improvement
Vick N 0 Posted November 6, 2008 hi guys, do you just simple put these arms on a corrado motor spline and tighten up the bolt? Really that simple?
Toad 0 Posted November 6, 2008 No. You have to moon walk around the car twice first. ;) Yeah, just wap them on and line them up before nipping them up. :)
