Quick help needed, re: wiper arms

Recommended Posts

just collect the TT wipers, and got them home, they look super lovely. But there appears to be no splined bit in the hole?

i've never had new arms before so it may be that they come like this?

^^^ just a smooth hole in last pic, does clamping it onto the car create the splines?

just fitted them, simple really, i not sure the bending acheived much, i was too scared to break anything, but they seem to work ok.

the passenger side does catch the scuttle trim at the bottom but its such a small amount i'm going to leave it and see what happens

I just went to VW garage with these part numbers

8N2955408D = arm, 2no. required

8N2955425E = blade, 2no. required

came to £105, expensive it seems, but worth it, such a good improvement

No. You have to moon walk around the car twice first. ;)

Yeah, just wap them on and line them up before nipping them up. :)
