hang on a sec, the avo suspension has snapped or the bolt?

if the suspension has snapped then you're kinda fooked.

If the bolt has snapped, you may well be able to still get it out depending on where the snappage occurred.

Oh dear.

Start off by soaking the end of the bolt in WD40 or something similar, next I'd look to try to cut the end of the broken suspension off around the bolt. Not very easy without gas though. Once you've managed to get rid of that, grip the remains of the bolt and twist that If the worst comes to worst, cut it off fairly short, and beat it and the captive nut into the axle, where you can then pull them out. You'll have to fit a new nut to the axle, but it might be the only way.
