***Good quality bodyshop needed for the MK2***

Hi All, i need your help i need to know the names of any good bodyshops that you guys have had dealings with that you would recommend, i live in leicester so local to leicestershire would be ideal however i dont mind travelling for the right quality of work at the right price. Looking for wings/doors/glass/boot/bonnet off job and fully wax oiled underneath, my budget is 2k which i cant afford to pay twice so come on guys and girls throw some names at me.. :)

Yeah i agree with Jim on this one, loads of people seem to be using him and his work looks to be amazing, have a look on E38 at some of the cars he's done. That Mk2 Golf G60 ('Shaggy' on here i think, plate G60 OE) was awesome!

Rang him and he quoted £2000 without taking glass/panels off, think thats abit dear tbh.. Any views/comments on Base21 or Premier? Quality of work and what are they like to deal with.?

He's dear because he does a good job mate - speak to any of his customers! Premier are supposed to be very good but would be surprised if they're cheaper than Southam Bodies.

Iv seen his work and it is good, will go and see him for a more accurate quote because all bodyshops need to see the car first to give an accurate quote.
