MonkeyVR6 0 Posted December 21, 2008 Are all Corrado wing mirrors heated? Where did you by the glass from dude? Are they a good fit?
corradog60stage4 0 Posted December 21, 2008 Are all Corrado wing mirrors heated? Where did you by the glass from dude? Are they a good fit? I got them from Ahn Nguyen from Dub Industries. The glass is not flat so the GOOP fills in the void and holds good.
KipVR 1 Posted December 21, 2008 So they are no longer heated?
corradog60stage4 0 Posted December 21, 2008 So they are no longer heated? yes they are still heated. the metal heating element is still intact and the glass goes over it.
vwdeviant 0 Posted December 22, 2008 Are these "Sided" for LHD cars? If so won't be much use for us here in the UK as the "passenger" will be our Drivers mirror
davidwort 0 Posted December 22, 2008 I'm assuming aspherical is a glass with a blind spot/wide angle outer edge to it? Would love one of these, save me running people off the road :) So who supplies them?, I've only seen tinted or convex aftermarket lenses for the Corrado. JMC 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Are these "Sided" for LHD cars? If so won't be much use for us here in the UK as the "passenger" will be our Drivers mirror I've got these on mine, and they work fine mate. Both mirrors are slightly convex so give much better field of view than the standard ones. Takes a day to get used to it and then it's as if they've always been like that. krnau 0 Posted June 3, 2009 "Our blue wide angle mirrors help cut down on headlight glares and gives a wider view than the stock mirrors. The driver side mirror (left) is not wide angle. These mirrors do not have the heating element. But the heat pad on the old mirrors can be peeled off and reapplied to the DDI mirrors. JMC 0 Posted June 3, 2009 Yep, both curved on mine, although the drivers side is more curved than the passenger side one. I seem to remember Anh (at DDI) did some of these specifically for the British market (RHD) so perhaps mine was left over from that batch.
corradog60stage4 0 Posted August 23, 2010 yes i too remembered he has made them for both markets, he still has them in stock.
