Part Numbers

I'm trying to source the following parts, but when i give the below part numbers the guy in VW is telling me they're not VW part numbers, where do i need to go/ have these parts changed?

 

 

FUEL FILTER

 

* 9A 16v Fuel Filter: 893 133 511 £12.09

* 2 x Seals 049 133 696B £3.84

* 2 x Seals N013 812 8 £0.44

* Fuel filter bracket Bolt N010 348 4 £0.58

* Threaded plate for above 251 813 599 £0.99

* 4 x Nut that hold fuel assembly to car N011 006 27 £1.00

* 4 x washer for above N012 226 5 £0.48

 

 

# Foliage cover seal 191 819 166 around £6

# 5 x Trim Clips For the Windscreen Lower Cover Panel 535 853 832 A 03C around £2.30

# 5 x Trim Clip Insets for the windscreen lower cover panel 535 853 837 around £1.18

 

 

Someone help me please :)

tell the dimwit to pass the keyboard to someone who can work the parts program, it's not that difficult to find parts even if they have been superceeded, it's not like you didn't give him the car model and part description :roll: (did you?) :)

hah, yeah first thing i told him, car,engine, year, part , gave him the part number for the fuel filter said it didn't exist, he said thers another one for the 9a, so he ordered it for me, i then asked for fuel filter seals / gave him the part number, he said theres no such thing.....

 

come to think, these are the guys that work on our cars? that demand £50/hr + labour - yet can't type in numbers :| I didn't want to argue with him at the time as i thought it might be GSF part numbers or something - i'm a newbie :D

That's ridiculous. How many people would even attempt to give him a part number? Not very many. So surely if he's any good he should be able to find the parts just from a description. Our parts person does that all the time. :wink: Shame I don't work in a VW dealership though....
