.Rich. 0 Posted February 18, 2009 If anyone knows an easy way of removing these buggers, can you please PM me? I have a feeling I left the special nut thing on the car the last time I changed the wheels and I have lost it on the road somewhere. What an absolute ball ache. A1 VR6 0 Posted February 18, 2009 VAG dealers normally have a master key for these - failing that these should do the job :) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IRWIN-Bolt-Grip-F ... 240%3A1318
KIPVW 0 Posted February 18, 2009 Yep what he says  also when i took mine to VW a few years back they had thrown them away as they no longer use them :brickwall: So took it to a local tyre fitters and he then used a thin bladed screwdriver to remove the thin bezzel that spins around the head of the bolt which took seconds to do then after that he just whacked a socket which was smaller than the bolt head onto it and it made the round bit turn into a bolt then off it came :) Enjoy! and throw the F'in things in the bit they are evil! :bad-words: dont use them anymore on my VR but use Mcguard ones on the 8v.
