PaulMoVR6 0 Posted March 4, 2009 After a heavey frost the night before i jumped in the car in the morning without waiting 4 it 2 defrost proarly went for the drivers window was pessing the button like f#@k, after the frost had thawed the window had stopped working, i can still hear the motor clunking when you press the switch, the window drops down about a 1" sometimes and wont go back up, i have had the door card off several times 2 have a look but i have no idea whats wrong and how 2 go about fixing it, any help guys much appreciated. cheers Paul Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
AlgarveVR6 0 Posted March 4, 2009 Had a similar problem recently. Took it all apart, including removing glass from its holder. (Although the glass remained in the door) Put it all back together and it worked fine. My conclusion was it had stuck in the runners and the removal and refit had loosened it off.
