falcodub 0 Posted March 16, 2009 I need some guidance with my g60 conversion 1st pic shows the connector on the g60 loom,(from a golf g60) 6 wires, this feeds off the loom to the ecu connector and on a g60 connects to a correspondin connector near to the ecu holder. 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC01176.JPG[/attachment:1r40szvx] 2nd shows the part of the loom i think i need to match up to it, only 4 wires, these match up colour wise with 4 of the 6 in the 1st pic. What do i do with the rest? Assuming the 4 matching should be connected? DSC01174.JPG[/attachment:1r40szvx] Base car is an 89 8v golf gti, donor car is 91 golf g60 ed1 I only have the 1 main engine loom so cannot change both looms. Any ideas anyone? Rustynuts 0 Posted March 17, 2009 This loom is different to the G60 Corrado loom does not have that black connector. If I can find my Bentley manual I will see if I can tell you what each colour does. The good news is that the black connector type of loom is the same as the later Mk2 8v loom to the fuse box.
