Electric recaros not working....

i thought i'd seen this as a common problem, but searching hasn't brought anything up..

 

My drivers side recaro has stopped working;

 

The up/down motor works on the switch and moves the seat, but when you put your weight on it it falls back to the bottom. Get off and it comes back up.

 

And you click the switch on the backrest and nothing happens - do they stick/get dirty or anything or will it be motor problems?

 

The passenger seat works fine i think, so i assume it is not fuse related?

As a start point try swapping the switches over from the passenger seat.
