Sorry guys I need to know what this part is, heater control valve??? Its leaking so giving me a few problems. There a hose attached to the bottom which then goes to the matrix and when you go to shake or pull it its quite moveable probaly due to its rubber mounts?

Part number would be most excellent too! 8)

its bloody hard to take a photo, its begind the wiring and you can see it attaches to the mount in the main picture!

Jenks, can you indicate what part you mean on the photo? And a slightly bigger engine photo so I know where I'm looking at...

 

VAGCAT exploded diagrams don't show much cooling wise in that area...

jesus! £85+vat from VW and Dingbro dont stock them either, anywere else guys? :?

 

GPC or fleabay, but its still going to be expensive..

GSF and Euro car parts are only a fiver cheaper?

 

My mate is breaking a mk3 golf Vr6, will they be the same???

they pop up on ebay every so often, thats where i got mine from (2nd hand) but it all seems in good order, think i paid about £20

 

The bracket from gruvenparts isn't cheap either :eek:

What about trying Ford? I am sure they are on the Galaxy / Sharan VR6 as well. Bought a few sharan bits cheaper from the ford dealers.
