help with part numbers

Hi,

 

Need a new fuel accumulator for my 1.8 16v corrado.

 

theres 2 different part numbers. one for an 8v accumulator and one for a 16v

 

anywhere i look on the net says

 

447133441 is the 16v one

 

and

 

431133441C is the 8v one

 

but my dealer is telling me its the oppisite?

 

can anyone help?

also, if anyone has one 2nd hand i would probably buy it instead

OK just checked the parts catalogue, your dealer is correct the 16v accumulator for a 1.8 KR engine is part number 431 133 441C.

 

An 8v one will be pretty useless as it operates at a different holding pressure, you may end up with hot start problems if you fit an 8v item.
