brough74 0 Posted April 13, 2009 Hi my corrado VR6 will turn over but wont start, and there is a relay clicking in and out, in the dash when you try to start it. Intermitent fault as its only starting doing this in the past 2 days, sometime its fine and other times not, Immobiliser checked ok and by passed. Any ideas or will it be the fuel pump relay playing up ? in my case relay 109, ignition switch is fine as starter motor appears to be.
Jim 2 Posted April 13, 2009 Definately get the fuel pump relay swapped. You might find just removing it and reseating it is enough to make it work - but you should replace it either way.
fla 9 Posted April 13, 2009 As above get it replaced. In the meantime, check it by putting 12V across it directly (have a look at the wiring diagram on the base) and see if it closes the circuit. Try it both pulsed and continuous power. That way you rule it out. Also, clean the spades with WD40 before fitting.
