yeti 0 Posted April 15, 2009 yeah that one was utter dog turd but try the new one, you may like it! - i did and i'm not a fan of brightly painted lurid cars (including an orange m5 with carbon bonnet in this one! lol) no real story but it has LDV Vans back in it and its worth it just to look at some of the crazy driving! LisaK 0 Posted April 15, 2009 The new one has lots more American V8 muscle in it too *dribble* I did find the nitrous oxide catching fire and exploding scene quite amusing though - nitrous isnt flammable
yeti 0 Posted April 15, 2009 The new one has lots more American V8 muscle in it too *dribble* lol and amazingly vin diesel has got bigger and uglier!

Girls yeah obviously hot. Believable? Well yeah its as believable as any other film made for entertainment purposes :cuckoo: If you have seen the top Jap boys drifting then you would know it is VERY believable. Fake Mountain? Yeah for sure but it is still based on the mountains around Tokyo where drifting first started. Ruining modified car scene? That IS the modified car scene for some people. Just cos you aint in to it doesnt mean others arent. Hey Im not in to gay porn but I hear it sells by the bucket load
Leonard 0 Posted April 15, 2009 Take a look at this and tell me the film looks crap, the mountain roads fake, the modified car scene unreal and the kids not having enough money for the cars 8) :salute:
sean1380 0 Posted April 15, 2009 yeah i know it IS the modified car scene in a way but i guess its just not my taste lke u say,i just find it abit embarressing the way they harm on about it yeah iv know about drifting n yeah its believable as its real driving happening but why cant they just drive in a straight line around those cars n stuff n escape alot quicker?? yeah i understand that the mountains around toyko are like that as japan is pretty much one big mountain out of the sea but just abit cheesey the way they speed it up like some benny hill movie when their drifting down the mountain yeah i know the japs are into their crazy paint jobs and out their style just i guess its not my taste...again best me not watching it then as i just cant relate to it yeah things like nos exploding and never ending up-shifts but yeah the american muscel cars are the best part of it
tyler 0 Posted April 15, 2009 there pure cheese not to be taken seriously and if you watch them for that then there ok the new film in my opinion is the worse which is very shocking as i didnt think it could get worse :(
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 15, 2009 I couldnt agree more with the comments regarding the disappointment with the films. Not seen the latest one. Seen up to tokyo drift which i watched the other weekend when ALL of them were on bar the latest. I didnt really like the first one tbh, but the rest make the first one seem like its worth watching  - yes i think they are that bad! :gag: Im sure the real modding seen isnt as cheesey AND at least those boys do the modding thing properly. Unlike some of them over here who grab cheap shoite from Halfords and stick it to their 1.1 COOOOORSA
sean1380 0 Posted April 15, 2009 thats the thing tho they think just by puttin a loud back box on and a few neons on the parcel shelf that they straight out of the movie!! i no wot your sayin the 1st one does seem kinda plausable after what the rest are like they should make on in england.......... london nights, gettin cut up by taxis and gettin pulled for looking suspicious in a modified car or back road racer where young farmers race there mums cars around the lanes on a night going from doggin spot to doggin spot n avin afew joints
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 15, 2009 or back road racer where young farmers race there mums cars around the lanes on a night going from doggin spot to doggin spot n avin afew joints That speaking from experience  just teasing. ;)
sean1380 0 Posted April 15, 2009 haha still do it mate!!!haha not in me mums car tho im not aloud to drive their cars theres not much else to do up int lakes like,no real scene as such just making use of empty back lane on a night n avin afew chheky dubes haha got afew dubbers up here tho on the quiet so its quite good
Leonard 0 Posted April 15, 2009 yeah iv know about drifting n yeah its believable as its real driving happening but why cant they just drive in a straight line around those cars n stuff n escape alot quicker?? Because they are drift cars! They are set up to go around corners sideways, not generate huge amounts of cornering grip
sean1380 0 Posted April 15, 2009 yeah i got that bit just ud think it'd still be quicker to not drift? ok yeah i do get the whole thing and its just coz its just cheese that upsets me and the hollyoaks cast could act better than those dweebs but like was said b4 i would rather watch that drivel than some love story etc
Flexso 0 Posted April 16, 2009 Ive gotta say that I really like this film. :D I think it needs to be taken alot more light heartedly. I have got a Japan import aswell as my Corrado, so have always been into the scene. I prefer the cars in this film to the cars in the first two films. Also you have got to admit that putting a 200sx engine in a mustang is a pretty cool random thing to do.
Emkayvr6 0 Posted April 16, 2009 Wouldnt say any of them are 'good films' but i could say that about the najority of films i've seen, but they have entertained me and i'd rather watch a poor film with cars and hot girls in then some shite romantic dribble, haven't seen the new one yet but the 2nd one was by far the worse. Jay23Sx 0 Posted April 16, 2009 The new one is better than the 2nd by far, whether you prefer it to Tokyo Drift is another matter (depends if you like muscle or bright paint jobs). *but* people who are into cars take it all to seriously, these films are meant to be cheesy, not realistic. Unfortunately the 17/18 year olds in the Corsa's don't know that. Oh and if you do like the films, Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have signed up for the 5th installment already (not surprising, the 4th broke box office records for this time of the year). coullstar 0 Posted April 16, 2009 I know there not suppose to be taken seriously but they are all truely awful.
sean1380 0 Posted April 17, 2009 so theres gonn be another? maybe i should email those boys..haha yeah i no its ment to be taken light heartedly just i wouldnt mind actually watchin a decent car movie so why cant they make one and cut the bull?? i do wana see cars drifting, things gettin blown up but theres gotta be a better way yeah was good seeing a ole mustang gettin some loving in that film prob best part as for box offic..theres not really been much else tho..that crank2 looks turd along with that boated that should have sunk and i love u man???i think i would rather av watched the new fast and furious jap crap tho! Josh Waddi 0 Posted April 17, 2009 I think Fast and Furious was a OK film, then the 2nd one was a bit better but i found it more funny than entertaining then Tokyo Drift was dog poo  but from what i have heard this last one is back on track. its very very similar when it comes to the game which started these films off, Need for Speed. the 1st few were good games and very entertaining then they got worse and worse. now the latest one has gone back to the way it was originally and redeemded itsself. Just another opinion. :)
