tyler 0 Posted June 26, 2009 well recent progress has been slow but bought a cheap welder to seam weld must this will be done other time and i have to teach myself how to weld again as its been 10years since i picked one up lol recent upgrades leather seats white dials and gauge pod fitted fitted the wiring for the stereo but not gone in yet plus been buying some bling for the engine but this might be in vain as im thinking of going 20vt out of my seat as hes getting a fsi lump :D il get pics up tomorrow
tyler 0 Posted August 29, 2009 i have now taken of the road for a short while needs a few upgrades doing so im getting urethane bushes front and rear and some other jobs as the car has got dangerous to drive, in the mean time ive bought a huge fiat CINQUECENTO to get me around. i really fancy doing the engine in the corrado but havent decided which route to go im considering a 20vt or a vr6 the vr6 is easy on the eye while the 20v is easy to tune so i have to weigh the pro and cons on both :(
daz 0 Posted August 29, 2009 nice n shiney has my first rado was red and fading looking nice
Wastegate86 0 Posted August 29, 2009 hope you have deep pockets if you're transfering engine you going to do the work yourself?
Corrado_Addict 0 Posted August 30, 2009 Looking good man, the 20v is an awesome engine right out the box, reliable and a perfect platform for tuning but you just can't beat the noise of a vr6 on song 8) And again the vr6 is pretty much bulletproof so either way both engines will be reliable :)
tyler 0 Posted August 30, 2009 hope you have deep pockets if you're transfering engine you going to do the work yourself?[/quotE) Ill be doing the work myself i have done a couple of conversions ive put a16valver in a mk1 a g60 in the same mk1 then converted to a turbo (never got it ran correctly tho lol) i reckon the hardest part will be exhaust but i like a challange :D
tyler 0 Posted September 7, 2009 A few changes since last time think ill stick with the 16v lump and just rebuild it :D but recently stripped the interior and wax oiled the inside took the dash out and will be getting it flocked bought new seats cobra sidewinders :D and starrted to line up the stereo system new fan fitted the biggest i could get in (16") and mounted on the front instead off the rear new fan location its very tight Amp location just beyond the seats Old skool amps and crossover by alpine Dash out ready for flocking worring bit hopefully it will go back in lol
