Sounds good- I go somewhere similar- they look after loads of Rados 8)

 

May try Streetwise in Bristol though as they're VAG specialists and do a full service (OEM parts/oil) and MOT for £125! Bargain.

 

Keep us all posted when you eventually get it done :)

be awhile i think, like i said the 1.8 is a bit of a trooper so whiles it's running good i'm gonna get the inside re done.

i am feeling the need for speed tho :) after all i don't want an all mouth no trousers rad :camp:

as it's such a nice day i'v spent 4 hours polishing her to get it half way there for the show and shine on sunday, just thought i'd share some pics.

16s are defo the way forward on a Rado- best compromise ;)

it's hard to get a good rare set of 16's tho... there's so much more range in 15's and 17's

 

i was toying with the idea of banded steel.... really deep one's :grin:

BBS RX2s are nice, polished lip etc :shrug: You could do the middles gunmetal...

if i had the money i'd have 3 piece schmidt modern line's..... but as it happen's i don't have a spare £1700 at the mo.

That would be nice 8) BBS LMs are nice too, but pricey for a genuine set :(

i was thinking maybe the rota cup's as i'v never seen a rad with them on and their super deep (4"dish)... not sure what they are like in real life tho, seen alot of wheels that look good in pictures but naff in the flesh.

plan would be 16" by 8" all round, plus 20mm spacers at the back and 10mm at the front

gonna save may penny's first. plus i'v only just polished these, i'v not spent 2 whole day's blistering my fingers for nothing you know :nono:

 

good thing about the rota's are their light weight alloy's the one's i got atm weigh a ton... it should get her handling better
