nocrap 0 Posted July 1, 2009 Hi all, Just phoned AVS (http://www.vwspares.co.uk/) to check on my order and asked them about their stocking of genuine vw parts. the guy on the phone had a couple of useful bit of info; 1. They're soon to be stocking Gates which is the brand you'd get if you bought direct from VW 2. The Febi belt tensioners are actually made by the same company that makes the genuine parts, i forget their brand though! 3. They should be able to provide any genuine VW common service parts at a discount over VW Another thing that people might not have spotted is that they're are once again supplying Quantum oils, current price is £12.95 rising to £14.95 soon.
