bigrichi 0 Posted July 3, 2009 Hi Folks, After posting in the Wanted forum for a new sunroof switch i decided last night to have a play about with the broken switch. I'm not e mechanic or anything so sorry if I dont use the correct terms but i'll try and explain as best i can what i have done and what is happening. When i opened the switch up there was 3 little metal plates which had became dislodged. there was one for slide open,slide closed and tilt. after putting them back in what i asume are the correct positions I plugged the switch back into the sunroof wiring and tried it. It now works....but not sure if its working correctly. when i press the tilt button, the sunroof tilts and to closed it i need to press the slide open button. when i press the slide open button the sunroof slides open (and with a very nice action thankfully :D ). when i press the slide close button nothing happens, but i can hear something clicking in the sunroof area. If the sunroof is slid open and i press the tilt button the sunroof will slide closed. Is my Sunroof bewitched???
