Inlet manifold powder coatting

Does any one know were the best place to send a inlet manifold to, to get it powder coated. looked all over tinternet and could find any were

if you mean externally then there's a listing on ebay that does it, search under 16v manifold or similar, i've come accross it a few times now

 

if you mean internally then your shed :grin:

also you could always look for somewhere in the yellow pages, chrome electroplaters could be place to start there.

The company we use at work is High Class Metal Finishers, Nr Stonehouse - Guys name is Kevin (T) 01453 825464. Really good polisher but you might have to wait a while!!

No, mine is Powder Coated - As Billcor says, it is probably the better option as it is a much more durable finish with no polishing!!

Got mine off E Bay already Powder Coated - There are 2 companies near my work who can do it, perhaps get a price off them and I'm happy to deliver/collect it from them if you drop it off @ mine?

 

1) QS Enamellers, Nailsworth - 01453 834782

 

2) Mikris Finishers, Dudbridge - 01453 763873

Will defo be a inlet manifold and cam cover to be powder coated. possibly the bottom part of the inlet manifold, not shore if its worth doing tho??

Both the Top + Bottom parts of my Manifold were done, def look better!!

i thought there was a cheaper one than that on ebay, seems a bit pricey to me, but then you do get the factory look back

 

i'd baulk at that sort of money for what you get, and would spend a bit of time and a tenner on some vht paint from halfords again

You could try Leominster powdercoat thats where i'm getting mine done. I think they even pick up and deliver if your not that close.
