Danny B 0 Posted September 18, 2009 Hi all, just had one of those rare moments : when you see a car that you never new existed.......I use to love XJS's ever since my old man had one for a short period when I was younger, style icon I think, but never have seen or knew they made an estate. The one I saw today was so cool, loved it, got me looking on piston heads
davidwort 0 Posted September 18, 2009 I think they were one-offs or special coachbuilt aftermarket jobs, like hearses  There's one or two older XJS's built as estates too, just wrong, jags should be big saloons or coupes, not mondeo based either! Danny B 0 Posted September 18, 2009 what ....no way, the one I saw was a beaut. It looked so different and sleek. Reminded me of one of these bad boys.....
Andy665 0 Posted September 18, 2009 Called the Lynx Eventer and made by Lynx, converted quite a few of them. IIRC they used the rear window from a Citroen Ami. They were rumoured to be trying somthing similar with the XK8 but I don't think it ever came to fruition
