eugopnosaj 0 Posted October 27, 2009 Ok so im trying to tidy up my engine as i rebuild it, trying to make it look nice. Ive gone over the inlet manifold with a wire brush and removed all the crap, its fairly nice and shiny and im not sure if i should leave it like this or paint it. davidwort 0 Posted October 27, 2009 your best bet is to remove the inlet and cam cover and have it professionally coated, if you DIY paint it with high temp paint or engine laquer it'll crack and peel off in no time and even when fresh can look pretty ropey, just my 2p.
