radojunkie 0 Posted November 14, 2009 i bought this bad boy on the 05/09/08, having only experience with mk2,3 and 4 golfs no non vag crap. wanting a cheap fastback i scoured the internet and fell upon you bunch! great! but then i looked through the forsale section, now not having ever done this before, the ad made me launch a minute mad obsesive, button pressing, telephone dialling, speaking to the seller and buying ambush! Picking the car up the next day. heres the spec and some photos of what i bought standard bar fk coilovers, smoked rear lenses yellow fog covers miltek de-cat exhaust system smoked headlights sns chip 68mm pulley stage 4 supercharger 114k full vw service history momo steering wheel not having much cash after that little splurge, i did the poor mans form of modifying. Stickers! this saw nurmberg rings in the rear quarters a fat rear of a corrado with the words, lower than a snake's bollocks below. 110mm drop :D not having much cash with insurance an the like, i drove it, got to love it but found most of all chicks dug it! certified keeper it was a healthy 170bhp at 177ft lbs of tourque, you can see where im going with this can't you (was) :grin: now after your with a women for a while you buy something special for her so she'll do a something bit special for you! :lol: this, is a bit like that but mine envolved an engine and gearbox, making her a supercharger, nutter, takeoff b**tard which is very special, spec to follow: Jabbasport fully Rebuilt 1.9 Bottom End Je low compression Pistons 9A 16v Rods Later crank Fitted New Oil Pump Bearings and Seals Lightened Flywheel Fully Balanced Bottom End TSR pack C Big Valve Head Piper 285 Cams Shaft Polished Rocker Cover and Head Sachs vr6 clutch gear box: 1st,2nd,3rd + reverse vr6 gearing and limited slip diff - stealth racing misc: tsr flowed manifold stainless 4-2-1 exhaust manifold decat full miltek exhaust system with more to come: custom front valance custom cosworth intercooler custom 3" pipework mocal 16 row oil cooler + thermostatic sandwhich its all been bolted together now and has had a good seeing to through monmouth tunnels with the phone out the window, immature stylee! will get pics up of installation when i can find my phone lead, let me know what you think Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

I love giving it some boot through the Monmouth tunnel, and tunnels in Birmingham city center too when i visit my bro up there.
