Supercharged 2 Posted November 24, 2009 I need to purchase one as well - did you get a good price? cheapest I can find a Bosch one is just over £
odub 0 Posted November 25, 2009 The cheapest I've found is around the £50 mark. Just spoken to VW who want £135! Sounds like a lot to me. I asked about just supplying the connectors and the chap told me they have no way of ordering them unless I have a part number. So could anyone supply me with the part numbers for the lambda connectors if possible please
mimjed 0 Posted November 25, 2009 Think it comes as all in one, so i doubt they would split the parts. Will double check later for you.
Supercharged 2 Posted November 25, 2009 You can get the plug and repair wire though - they just need to look in the electrical catalogue
odub 0 Posted November 25, 2009 that's good news. i do struggle with their parts department sometimes
mimjed 0 Posted November 25, 2009 no breakdown of wiring/connectors on the diagram i looked at. it has a foot note which says lambda probe also uses; 357 972 754 J 357 972 741 A 000 979 133 000 979 225 000 979 133 B / PG so i assume these are to do with wiring, but not 100% my assumption of the most useful part number would be the last number as it includes pg :D but you never know. odub 0 Posted November 25, 2009 today after talking to rhuben at tuning werkes and ordering a milltek decat pipe as my cat is on its last legs as well, i asked if he could supply a lambda also. he said that best bet was to use a genunie one and got me a slightly better price and hopefully i'll also be able to get the plug for the car side. when it all comes through i'll put up a part number
