HI people, i fitted HID but now one sidelight the main beam comes on and so does the sidelight, is this correct ???

Sounds like you need to disconnect the Dim-dip resistor located in the front of the left wing yellow and black wire IIRC

 

This was originally to boost the crappy side lights by putting the dipped beam on at reduced power.

 

If you actually mean the full beam is coming on I'm afraid I can't help you.

Yea colin, i thought so, what does this look like and where abouts is it, located, will i neeed to remove my airbox ?

I don't understand your query. I have installed many hids so if you could explain it so a foreigner like me can understand it easier, I will be pleased of helping you :)

think im having the same issue maybe possibly??

 

i fitted HID to both normal lamps and full beam, if i switch on the sidelights then the hids are flickering really bad, but on normal dip they are fine, do i need to remove this dim dip resistor?

Yes you need to remove it, its fixed to the passenger wing just behind the headlight.
