Thirded, mine's there too, needed decent self tappers to bite into the metal of the seat back though...

I drilled small 1.5mm pilot holes to help the self tappers bite properly when I did mine. Worked a treat.

Want to try and keep it really tidy, was thinking of a fibreglass housing built into one of the sides, i should imagine on the back of the seat its a bit messy with power cables and speaker cables etc, photo would be lovely.

Cheers again

A cheeky one of my install.

Piece of thin mdf - covered in carpet, screw to bass tube then amp screwed to that.

Works a treat as i can easily remove the whole lot to gain full boot space.

Mine is currently screwed to my 12" sub box, but will soon be affixed to the back of the seat as I now have an audioscape sub box to fit!

This is my cheap and chearful install.

Parts required -

Sub and amp (lying around in the shed)

Wardrobe door (again lying around in the shed)

Acoustic carpet (ebay £9)

Glue, screws, jigsaw and drill/screwdriver

Metal strap to make securing bracket onto where the warning triangle used to live.

Not the best of installs and I still need to reposition the interior light :( but it was well within my budget

Here you can see how it's done in mine.. The subwoofer enclosure is yellow because my brother used it in his yellow bmw earlier..

Running a "stealth" stereo, with new speakers in the original positions.. :-)

And yes, I know those "stopping-thingies" are the wrong way.. :cuckoo:

The "huge" connectors are so I can remove the sub completly in 2minutes.. For track days, if I need more trunkspace, etc..
