Im buyin a Carrado, want buyin advice please

Im interested in buying a Carrado, iv seen a VR6 L reg 1994. It appears to be in good condition with 136000 miles its up for £3000. Please can someone advise me what to look out for. Plus should i go for the G60 instead?? which ones better to buy.

personal prefrence, but the vr lump is bullet proof, plus you dont have to rebuild the charger every week :camp:

Don't make the same mistake I did and buy a cheap one. Get 3.5-5k and buy a proper low mileage, full dealer/specialist service history minter or don't bother at all.

VR6 are great! G60 are great!

 

Make sure it got solid history. unless you like having your head under the bonnet. Dont be deterred from a bargain if your handy with a spanner.

I prefer the VR over the G60, BUT... i'd get which one was in the best nick for the cash i had to spend. As said just go view and have a drive. See which you prefer. You may prefer one over the other but then not be able to find one in a decent enough condition. If that makes sense.
