Door Seal

Recommended Posts

Has anyone attempted to remove the seal which runs around the upper part of the door, and more importantly managed to get it back on again? It looks like it should just pull off but i'm reluctant to do this if its a nightmare to get back on, it feels like someone has stuffed a broken buscuit behind mine so there's rust there that needs sorting!! Thanks for any help.

whined down window all tha way, take off ur mirrors and plastic trim either side. i started to pull it from the outside a bit at a time. then used a flat head to pull it from the gap where the winow sits,

not tried putting it back on, but good luck

i assume this is the window seal being discussed here? If so, how is it supposed to be fitted back, ie do you use any sealant or adhesive to hold it in place? Mine has lifted at one end (following a respray) and while the rest is fine i want to seal this back down. I believe they're a real mission to remove.
