The odd miss on my G60

Hello, just got a G60 and the little bugger has developed a miss under load after 3500 rpm in 2nd and 3rd. now im now spanner and have thought of the possibilities such as plugs, leads, dizzy cap ect and will sort these without hesitation. but was wondering if there is any common issue with these cars as its the first G60 ive had and first supercharged vw. had loads of turbo cars all of the rice veriety so am pretty clued up but if there is anything you guys can put money on, let me know please.

I'd say normal rules apply.

I'd be looking at ignition components first as you say.

When was the last service?

sounds bad but im not to sure it was my pals car and he looks after his cars but i havnt asked him, ive ordered all the service parts this morning, so going to do that and then see how it goes.
