Bruceybaby 0 Posted January 26, 2010 Hi all, I did a search on here a while back and found the instruction on how to remove the front bumper. Problem i've come across, is the 17mm which goes through the chassis leg/Bumper iron. One is just spinning. Seems as though the captive nut is bust off inside the leg. Anyone have any advice? Riley 0 Posted January 26, 2010 Eek...that's not good mate :pale: Only thing i can think off real quickly is to chop the head off the bolt, but im unsure if there would be enough room to push the bolt up into the chassis leg so the bumper iron would slide out? Another idea is to try something like a ball joint splitter or similar to prise the bolt head down while trying to turn it? Maybe a buzz gun at a garage would be best. Neil.
