What colour primer for Aqua Blue?

Hi gents, as above really. I'm looking at doing a few touch ups and was wondering if VW specified the colour of primer as I'm guessing it will a significant effect on the top coat shade?

hi mate,

 

iv done large amounts of paint on mt aqua and i have used several different primers with no difference in paint finish or shade,

cant say for sure if there was a recomended primer to be honest

For my pearl green (LC6V) i use a white primer...the paint comes up a little darker than the original but i think that is down to it having faded over the years, its not really that noticable unless you look really closely, but i have only sprayed minor things like the handles, rear number plate surround and the grill. The paint you use might also be a slightly different shade...
