flip_corrado 0 Posted February 9, 2010 k, i finaly got to changing my heater matrix as the blowers only blew cold air. the pasenger side footwell was wet and the windscreen got misty (signs of a leaky matrix). as a new heater matrix is now in place and the water system has been bled i was hoping to feel warm air however this was not the case!!!!! still COLD :( i havejust recently got the car (with the heater problem) and have noticed that the spindal for (blue) heater cold cable control under the heater box is slightly brokon...maybe someone has opened it once before therefore tinking now it may be something to do with the spindal or heat flaps??????? could this be??? i can hear a change when turn from hot to cold also could it be the thermostat???? but the two pipes leading to the heater matrix are hot!!! or could it be the water pump not curculating the water??? please could you help me the car is costng me £££££s and i cnt even fix the problem.. if anyone can dcribe which way the spinals turn whenswicth from hot to cold would e great!!! for mine the spindal connected to the blue cable turn anti clockwise the the 2nd towarsd the drvers turns clockwise. which1 controls the heat???? please help!! :confused4: Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
