emu 0 Posted May 21, 2010 Just can't wait to fit them, and after that finally can get my wheel tracking and buy a new TAX. Car will back on road in first week of June :)
emu 0 Posted July 12, 2010 About month later than planned but had a few problems with my daily and had to sort out suspension in my allroad, it was pain but manage to do everything so time to come to do something in my lovely Corrado :) Replaced my old Koni for brand new KW Variant 2 Coilovers. They stick my car to road perfectly, specially on corners. Still have a small issue with my steering but hopefully will sort it out very soon.

emu 0 Posted July 12, 2010 nice! are they very bouncy? (if your running low that is) have to get some pics up of the stance :D They are not bouncy at all and I've set them up in the hardest mod. Picture of full car will be when I will sort all steering problems.

emu 0 Posted October 11, 2010 My Corrado was taken back in garage yesterday. Because due to flat redecoration all unneeded stuff and all my car parts was taken to garage and garage was quite full before I manage to put my car in there, so everything looks like that now.... Will decide what to do next with my car over the winter.
emu 0 Posted January 26, 2011 I'm quiet excited. Got myself new insurance on car, what means corrado is going back on road from 1st February. Classic insurance from Footman Jones including all modifications, full local and europe breakdown cover cost me 290.72 pounds for fully comp. Unfortunately I can only do 3000 miles per year but it's enough for me. Now its a time to pull car from garage and enjoy.
coullstar 0 Posted January 26, 2011 Weird, they wouldnt touch quote me when I had the 24v.
boost monkey 0 Posted January 26, 2011 Is that weird? An engine swap is pushing it for what most people would class as "mods" imo.
emu 0 Posted January 26, 2011 Weird, they wouldnt touch quote me when I had the 24v. Will see if they touch me when I will go Turbo :)

emu 0 Posted January 26, 2011 I thought you were selling off all your turbo kit stuff though ? Yes, I've tried very hard but nobody like to buy it. Welll....... I had a few very silly offers but no serious buyers. If I can keep Corrado on the road for that low insurance price I will. I try to phone them and ask later on if they will cover turbo conversion. emu 0 Posted February 2, 2011 Corrado officially back on road today. Replaced my orange polyurethane top mounts as wasn't happy because there was still some movement. Replaced them on bonrath top mounts with different top plates. Adjusted high suspension as I like and went on wheel alignment to find out that I have to lift a car because thy won't be able to fit laser alignment stuff. Anyway fist possible appointment is on Monday morning, hopefully I wont damage tyres to much till that. Trial fitted my new wheels. RH ZW1 8x17 front 9x17 rear. Tyres on them are not legal and arches need pulling out to fit them so future job as soon will be bit warmer outside. On the end I got on jet wash and gave a good clean to the car. When left car wash it started raining :(

coullstar 0 Posted February 2, 2011 You'll need a bit of clearance, they still sat slightly proud when on my car viewtopic.php?f=11&t=91748&start=
emu 0 Posted February 2, 2011 You'll need a bit of clearance, they still sat slightly proud when on my car viewtopic.php?f=11&t=91748&start=30 I have to lift suspension about 1cm anyway. I've been running 9" with ET 15 and everything was fine when arches were pulled out.
emu 0 Posted February 3, 2011 Very busy morning for me today. - Suspension lifted to fit wheel alignment devices, will have to stay like that after alignment but it's all right for me. - All bottom plastic stripped down ready to cleaning - Carpet removed from car, in bath at the moment :)
