delfinis38 1 Posted March 13, 2010 Speedlines.......does anyone know if there still available to buy from VW or can you buy them from anywhere else. I'm thinking about buying a new one as a spare instead of the space saver, assuming it fits in the same hole... i have a bit of carpet with the hump from my old 16v that i can put over the top of it in the boot. I guessing most peeps have never bought one as they either have 16/17/18 inch rims :D I'll give VW a call in the week to see but in the mean time..... dukest 0 Posted March 13, 2010 yes, you'd be mad to buy a new one, i bought a spare for £15, refurbed it and bought 5 matching tyres seeing as the spacesaver wont go over my 288 fronts or 280 rears. they can be rotated around so you dont end up with unbalanced wear.
