beastie4126 0 Posted August 12, 2013 They came from a Spoonfed group buy completed before one of their chaps showed himself as a tad unsavoury in the race relations department.
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 12, 2013 Looks like a lot of car for the money mate. Wish this had been around when I bought mine. As I purchased for 3k spend about 1500 on it and still don't have the spec you have! Will make someone a great car :)

Will make someone a great car :) Cheers m8, If I counted up all the cash, time and effort I have put into the car I think I would cry :) Hopefully someone will buy it and take it to the next level. I really would not like to see it being broken up for the parts that's for sure.
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 12, 2013 Jesus, if I could get away with it I'd buy it myself, stick the supercharger I've just bought on it too! Swap plates over and my wife would never know ;)
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 12, 2013 Why are you selling BTW?

Swap plates over and my wife would never know ;) Well don't let me stop you :) Why are you selling BTW? I have so many other commitments what with a new house, work and life in general that she isn't getting driven and just sits on the driveway. The last time I drove her was to the 25th Anniversary at Castle Coombe which was great but not moved since. These cars need to and should be driven as often as possible in my mind. beastie4126 0 Posted August 20, 2013 Not had so much as a PM regarding the sale of my car so I'm contemplating switching it back to mostly standard this coming weekend and selling off the goodies. one large classified add comming up :)
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 20, 2013 Oh mate, thats gutting. Have you advertised it elsewhere? plus you've got no pictures of the bad bits (people like to see how bad for themselves) and also of the dash and drivers seat (bolster wear etc) BTW if you do part it out, I'd buy the wheels ;)

Hofmiester 10 Posted August 20, 2013 Haha, well with the charger probably not as I'm not sure if it would be OK to boost a Shrick as well?
beastie4126 0 Posted August 20, 2013 Im sure it has been done but you have to lock the valve or something.
Hofmiester 10 Posted August 21, 2013 I did read up a bit ;) generally the opinion is that with the charger, you won't feel the benefit of the VGI
beastie4126 0 Posted August 21, 2013 To be honest if it was staying with me I would be looking to either super or turbo charge it, even though my insurance is expensive enough already. I'm a bit spoilt with the torque of my 3.0 TDI A4 that makes the Rado feel a little limp in comparison and it's a V6 as well :)
beastie4126 0 Posted August 26, 2013 Added some fresh pics to the for sale thread - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=82665
beastie4126 0 Posted November 3, 2013 Some one on here must fancy a nice winter project that doesn't need much doing surely? Revised price http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=82665 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/321242040132?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
beastie4126 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Well the old girl went off with her new owner this afternoon, sad to see her go but glad that she is going to get driven daily by the looks of things. I think I will have a break from Corrado insanity for a while but you never know I might be back .......just don't tell the wife I said that.
Hofmiester 10 Posted November 9, 2013 Good stuff mate, is it staying in the forum? Did you also sell you a3 yet?
beastie4126 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Dunno about the new owner being on here but he's from around Tamworth area. A3 sold on flea bay yesterday - down to 3 cars now :(
Hofmiester 10 Posted November 9, 2013 Gutted, I was about to ask about the A3 as I've entered a charity rally in May and need a fast, cheap car. Ah well!

Hofmiester 10 Posted November 9, 2013 Well I was going to go a bit higher for an already partially prepped car. Basically breaking the rules a little..... Reasoning was £500 for car and then buy the mods.....that just happened to already be on the car ;)
beastie4126 0 Posted November 9, 2013 Well she went for £1200 on the end so you would have been over budget. There are a few on the bay at the moment though.
