k511fhe 0 Posted March 26, 2010 hi all put my raddo in for a mot today and it failed not on much just a new wiper,flexi brake hose, and suspension. my question is on the suspension.it failed on and i qoute,offside front coil spring not correctley located? what does this mean? how has it happened and why? the mot guy did not have a clue :confused4: . cheers dave Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
k511fhe 0 Posted March 27, 2010 well i fixed this today,the spring had jumped out of the cup.only problem is now it pulls towards the right quite badly,the steering wheel is about a 1/3 off center and i have not a clue why?? any input would be appreciated. andy 0 Posted March 28, 2010 Sounds like you might have the wrong spring top plates, there are two types, lots of aftermarket suspension requires a different top plate.
