STVR6 0 Posted April 4, 2010 Ive started to get a really annoying sqeak coming from the back of my corrado vr6 ! Its def in side but i just cant find it... anything common or ideas please !!?? I thought it was the spare wheel rubber against the metal but not that, then thought it was boot hydrolic lifter but there fine. Its only when im moving and going over bumps or ruffish roads etc so def a rubbing from somewhere !! cheers !
Supercharged 2 Posted April 4, 2010 Usually it's the parcel shelf if the 2 foam stops are missing from the rear window trim.
Jon_vr6 1 Posted April 4, 2010 Thats what a GF is for mate stick her in the back seat and get her to see where its coming from :D
Critical_Mass 10 Posted April 4, 2010 Im finding that the factory speakers are squeaking inside their casing the parcel shelf sits on. The speakers just need removing.
KipVR 1 Posted April 4, 2010 If that doesn't work, take things out one by one until the squeaking stops. When it does eventually stop, it'll be the last thing you took out that was causing the squeaking. :D

bernie1033 0 Posted April 7, 2010 i had the same problem for weeks, had the whole thing stripped out at one point and still had the squeek, turned out to be the boot seal so gave it a good coat of vasoline and all is quiet again
CazzaVR 0 Posted April 8, 2010 You can also adjust the two rubber 'stops' on the tailgate. They just twist in and out.
