wy906 0 Posted September 5, 2011 My new toy. It's not a £2500 carbon fibre Arai I’m afraid, but it’s perfect for flying my F-14. :)

coullstar 0 Posted October 31, 2011 Nice, do you have standard suspension? Brakes fair okay? When I took my old car on track last year I used just over 3/4 of a tank and did 75miles!!!
wy906 0 Posted October 31, 2011 Your old car got turbo though! :) It worked out I used just over one tank of fuel on track. Yes mine has got standard springs and shocks (rears are new); brakes resisted fade well enough (288 fronts). The format was ‘open pit lane’ but I stuck to the '20-min on track, 20-min cool down regime’. Car really handled well, quick steering with good feel, I can’t fault it! Who says FWD can’t be fun?!? Kevin Bacon 5 Posted October 31, 2011 13mpg :D I love it!. One of these days you'll have Greenpeace chasing you round the track trying to attach a banner to the back of your car  Who says FWD can’t be fun?!? Narrow minded idiots!

wy906 0 Posted December 3, 2011 that's a shame. how come you sold mate? Hey Joey, long time mate; we both bought the Ice Greys at around the same time didn't we! I would like something a bit more track-focused. Maybe. :) Loved it though; it's been costly to maintain as I don't DIY, but it's been a joy and the VR6 remains to have a place in my 'lottery fantasy garage'. Great car and great forum community. wy906 0 Posted December 13, 2011 Bought this on Sunday, it’s 1999 milano red UKDM Integra Type-R. I love it. :)
coullstar 0 Posted December 13, 2011 No denying the ability of these things but Ive never been a fan of the jap high revving cars. Dont know what it is, it will be better on track though so fair play.
wy906 0 Posted December 13, 2011 Yeah I was worried about the lack of low down torque at first, but I test-drove my mate’s ITR a month ago and it was fine. Power delivery is different to VR6 for sure but both engines equally full of character. Initially I was hoping to move away from FWD but nothing within my budget caught my eyes. Pat_McCrotch 0 Posted December 13, 2011 Great choice, one of my best friends has a white one :) I used to have a Honda Accord Type R, him a White DC2 and my other friend a Civic EP3 Type R. So we had the whole set at one point, lol!
joeyboswell 0 Posted December 13, 2011 Yep...both got violet fever about the same time. Tell me about them being costly to maintain! I started doing DIY but have since gone to professionals. Still plodding on with it but it's not getting the TLC it deserves since being down in London. Love the look of the new beast though! Good look with it bud.
