BadMeatPies 0 Posted April 13, 2010 Hello - sorry for this probably stupid question.... I'm having my replacement sunroof sprayed and want to remove the seal (i know it's not really a seal but don't know what else to call it) I want to be as careful as possible as i don't want to have to pay for repairs at the same time as paint, how do you remove this part? it seems pretty firmly stuck on? there is room to get a screwdriver in where the 2 ends meet, but i'm unsure if ripping it from there will cause more work? to be clear i've uploaded the best photo i could get on my phone in low light, its the rubbery/foamy bit that surrounds the exterior panel. Photo-0060.jpg[/attachment:2hrhhs44] I don't mind ruining the seal as it's a little worn looking anyway. any help would be hugely helpful. thankyou

BadMeatPies 0 Posted April 13, 2010 mmm... just called a mate and he said the same, it seems someone has gone to town with super glue on mine, it's ripping off bit by bit, which is what made me hesitate. thankyou Leonard, case closed.
