its a 3m waffle pad and is very soft for finishing, the power gloss left no marks or swirling so just an application of jetseal..

How much did the Recaro's set you back? I REALLY want a set as they seem to modernise the interior IHMO. But as i'm grey leather it's a nightmare! :(

dye them

Absolutely stunning Andy, appears to be a real love affair!

Stumbled across a build thread earlier on e38 whilst looking for a thread on gareths car.

If you would sell for the price stated could you drop me a pm with details and your location?

Many thanks

All coloured leather is dyed though, grey seats aren't trimmed in elephant hide despite appearances. With the right prep and care they'll come up perfect.

LOL very good!

To keep things on topic, you will also find a lot of factory interior plastics are painted too. When you look at the back they are black and not the colour you see...

And there's no paint code for it either in a touch up stick! Karmann special colour.

Always a relief! Any advisories? What were the CO2 readings like? I (and the tester!) was amazed at how amazingly clean mine was running- was a pleasant surprise. YOu just don't expect cars of this sort of age to be so clean.
