Polishing the inlet manifold - on the inside!?

Has anyone ever cut open the inlet manifold and smoothed/polished it all - worth doing??

i dont think you have to cut it open,i think there a machine you can use, to clean the roughness of the casting inside, !

And how much does this improve things??

i dont think you get masses of noticable power, ideally you want free flow into and out of the engine to allow it to breath better, i.e polish and port cylinder head, free flow exhaust ect,

not sure where, but look for somewhere that does cylinder head work, google, your local area, for cyl head ,engine tuning.
