poll250 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Hi, I just picked up a set of 17" 7.5 ET35 RCs for the Rado as 2 of my OZ's are buckled beyond repair :( I was just wondering if they'd fit over my 312mm Brembos without spacers? Ta
KADVR6 0 Posted June 7, 2010 probably not, as i needed 10mm spacers with my rc's and the 323mm brembos.
BILLCOR 1 Posted June 7, 2010 Disc size isn't the problem, its the calipers, will depend which ones you are using, I needed 13mm per side to clear mine, which were an upgrade Brembo for a S3 with 323 discs
poll250 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Dang. 13mm is quite a lot! I'm using 7J OZ's at the moment with 10mm spacers - was hoping the extra 0.25 inch of these would be enough to drop the spacers as they are a very similar style rim. grrr. I guess I'll see in a couple of days, but I don't think my callipers are physically as big as Leon Brembos.
CorradoVR6-Turbo 0 Posted June 7, 2010 hence i went for wilwood calipers,so much thinner and work brill!
20vturbo 0 Posted June 7, 2010 i have porsche gt3 front calipers on 340mm discs under a set of bbs rc's 17" x 7.5 i can get away with a 10mm spacer but i went for 15mm just to be safe.
poll250 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Me thinks I should have started this thread before paying for them!
KADVR6 0 Posted June 7, 2010 Me thinks I should have started this thread before paying for them! you will be fine, i had 12mm spacers front and 15mm rear with standard arches and the TX's set firm, and had no rubbing in the 18 months the brembos were fitted. DANG60 0 Posted June 7, 2010 hence i went for wilwood calipers,so much thinner and work brill! Do the willwoods have dust seals on them? Sorry for hijacking but has anybody ever used bremsports as they are also a thinner caliper. I know the guy with the black cover car rallye from pvw used bremsports on his. I had 305 brembos on my last one and the calipers seem to be big compared to other makes
