Springs

Recommended Posts

Was hoping to lower the car for Inters but what with repairs that are needing to be done left right and centre i think it's highly unlikely that i'm gonna manage to pay for shocks and springs by then. I was thinking of just getting some lowering springs on the original dampers for now (not too old by the looks of them). What can people recommend for a 40mm drop bearing in mind that i would probably keep them to swap onto some Koni dampers or similar in the future.

H&R Sports, -35mm. Avoid their Race Springs.

You won't be dissapointed by those when partnered with Konis but you will find the ride bouncy as hell on standard dampers.

Do it right and do it once, if you can't afford the full hit wait till you can.Even if you fit them yourself you're into wheel alignment twice over and you might very well not get the ride quality you hope for with uprated springs and part worn standard dampers.
