Kempy 0 Posted June 30, 2010 Got my car running now but some little things left to do. My coolant needle doesnt work and the oil temp on the MFA doesnt work. Is this simply the sender on the back of the head not functioning? The fan didnt function but I got a few things to check from the haynes for that. davidwort 0 Posted July 1, 2010 you can check if the oil temp sensor is getting voltage by removing the wire to it and connecting a multimeter to it and to earth, the sensors just progressively earth to the block so the wire should be getting voltage from the dash if the ignition is on.
