alpine ida-x300 which speakers

ive got an alpine ida-x300 i pod headunit which sounds crap :( .i dont realy want to fit an amp but was thinking of fitting some 6x9 infinity speakers ,i dont want to cut my parcel shelf .can anyone help :D

You could always build yourself a stealth shelf and keep your un cut shelf in the shed.

6 1/2 inch components up front with a 10" sub in the boot is the way forward, you want the soundstage up front not behind you.

stealth shelf sounds best .do you screw the speakers to the top or bottom off the shelf ive got some 20mm mdf.bit old for this need help please

You can just screw the speakers underneath and then cover the shelf in acoustic cloth, hiding the speakers! That's what I did on my mk2 anyway

ive been looking on ebay and halfrauds at 6x9 can anyone reconmend any that will sound good with my alpine ida x300 i havent got an amp.something around the £50 mark fli69 look ok :scratch:
